Determined to catch a sunrise over the water, Tez got up at 6am and headed outside to a very windy morning, a quick dash back inside to get her newly purchased Mackerel Island drill shirt and it was all systems go with the camera, clicking away hoping to catch the early morning colours as the sun came up over the ocean.

| Sunrise over Thevenard Island |
Tez went in search of some guidance to get a decent internet connection and to find out what was on the menu for dinner as we are going to dine at Crusoe’s Restaurant tonight.
Sue, Mags & Bugsy set off N/E along the beach to see what was along that way and came across some mating green turtles taking lots of photos.
A lazy afternoon of whale watching was next on the itinerary, you can see them in the distance on most days and today there were 2 whales fighting across from our cabin. Too far away to get any photos though you could hear the thump as they crashed together.
Then we prettied ourselves up and headed off to Club Thevenard and Crusoe's Restaurant for Dinner. Met Arial our chef for the evening who is from the Philippines and some of the other islanders who were from Tasmania who had been out on their fishing charter today and were having their fish cooked by the chef.
As we had already eaten all of our fish, we opted for the restaurant cuisine.
Entree
Szechuan Calamari with Wasabi Mayo

After a lovely dinner it was back to the cabin for a movie night, Hangover was playing tonight and it was very good for a laugh before we all hit the deck pretty early.
